The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
