And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
