The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
