The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
