My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 127 What, do you build on every prominence a sign, sporting, 128 and make for yourselves mighty castles, [hoping] that you might become immortal? 129 When you lay hands upon anyone, you do so as tyrants. 130 "Now fear Allah, and obey me. 131 Have fear of Him Who has provided you with all the (good) things you know; 132 He has given you cattle, children, 133 And gardens and springs. 134 I am afraid that you will suffer the torment of the Day of Judgment." 135 They said: "It is the same to us whether you preach or be not of those who preach. 136 this is nothing but the habit of the ancients, 137 And we are not going to be punished. 138 And they belied him; so We destroyed them. Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 139 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 140
