Lot's nation, belied their Messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them: "Will you not take heed? 161 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 162 "So fear Allah and obey me. 163 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being. 164 “What! Among all the creatures, you commit the immoral acts with men?” 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing." 166 Said they: "Indeed, If thou desist not, O Lot, thou wilt most certainly be expelled [from this township]!" 167 He said, 'Truly I am a detester of what you do. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 Except an old woman, among those who remained behind. 171 We destroyed the others 172 And rained on them a shower (of Stones). How terrible was the rain (that fell) on those who had been warned! 173 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 174 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 175
