The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations." 184 They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched, 185 and a mere mortal like us. We think you are a liar. 186 So cause a fragment of the sky to fall on us, if you are truthful." 187 He said, "My Lord is most knowing of what you do." 188 Then they branded him a liar, whereupon the chastisement of the Day of Canopy overtook them. It was the chastisement of a very awesome day. 189 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 190 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 191
