The Companions of the Wood rejected the messengers. 176 When Shu'aib said to them: "Will you not take heed? 177 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ "Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others). 181 And weigh with the true balance. 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old." 184 They replied, "You are bewitched. 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said, “My Lord is Well Aware of what you do.” 188 Then they belied him; wherefore there laid hold of them the torment of day of shadow. Verily it was the torment of a Mighty Day. 189 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
