My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ "[Always] give full measure, and be not among those who [unjustly] cause loss [to others]; 181 and weigh with the straight scale, 182 and diminish not the goods of the people, and do not mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 for thou art nothing but a mortal like ourselves! And behold, we think that thou art a consummate liar! 186 Therefore cause a portion of the heaven to come down upon us, if you are one of the truthful. 187 (Shu'aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing." 188 In response they denied him – therefore the punishment of the day of the tent* seized them; that was indeed a punishment of a Great Day. (The clouds formed a tent and rained fire upon them). 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
