And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 The Trusted Spirit hath brought it down. 193 upon thy heart, that thou mayest be one of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Even so, We have caused it to enter into the hearts of harmdoers: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; 201 And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive; 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 That which they were made to enjoy shall not avail them? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 to admonish them. We have never been unjust. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 and warn your nearest kinsmen; 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 Then if they disobey you say to them: "I am quit of what you do." 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up (to pray) 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They descend on every lying sinner, 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 hast thou not seen how they wander in every valley 225 And that they say what they do not do? - 226 except those who believed and acted righteously and remembered Allah much, and when they themselves were subjected to wrong, they exacted retribution no more than to the extent of the wrong? Soon will the wrong-doers know the end that they shall reach. 227

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
