Al-Naml 6 of 7
The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
