The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
