Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
