Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
