We gave Moses the Scripture, so [Muhammad] do not doubt that you are receiving it, just as We made it a guide for the Children of Israel. 23 And We made of them Imams to guide by Our command when they were patient, and they were certain of Our communications. 24 Surely your Lord will judge between them on the day of resurrection concerning that wherein they differ. 25 Does it not point out to them the right way, how many of the generations, in whose abodes they go about, did We destroy before them? Most surely there are signs in this; will they not then hear? 26 Have they not seen how We lead the water to the barren land and therewith bring forth crops whereof their cattle eat, and they themselves? Will they not then see? 27 They also ask: 'When will this Opening come, if what you say is true' 28 Proclaim, “On the Day of Decision*, the disbelievers will not benefit from their accepting faith, nor will they get respite.” (* Of death or of resurrection) 29 and then leave them alone, and wait [for the truth to unfold as] they, behold, are waiting. 30
