Indeed, We gave Moses the Book; so he not in doubt concerning the encounter with him; and We appointed it for a guidance to the Children of Israel. 23 And We made from among them (Children of Israel), leaders, giving guidance under Our Command, when they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). 24 Verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection, concerning that wherein they used to differ. 25 Did they not find guidance in the many generations We had destroyed before them, over whose dwellings they (now) walk? There were indeed signs in this. Will they even then not listen? 26 Observe they not that We drive water unto a land bare, and bring forth therewith crops whereof their cattle and they themselves eat? Will they not therefore be enlightened? 27 And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?" 28 Say: 'On the Day of Victory their faith shall not profit the unbelievers, nor shall they be respited.' 29 So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting. 30
