Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
