Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 On a straight path, 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
