In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 On the Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
