Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
