Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
