1/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And the trumpet shall be blown, when lo! from their graves they shall hasten on to their Lord. 51 Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth. 52 Nothing will there have been but one single blast - and lo! before Us will all of them be arraigned [and be told]: 53 So this day no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and you shall not be rewarded aught but that which you did. 54 Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy in joyful things. 55 They and their companions will recline on couches in the shade. 56 They will have fruits and whatever they desire. 57 (It will be said to them): Salamun (peace be on you), a Word from the Lord (Allah), Most Merciful. 58 (And the guilty will be told:) "O sinners, separate yourselves this day. 59 ۞ Did I not commit you, O children of Adam, not to worship Satan who is your acknowledged foe, 60 But that ye worship Me? That was the right path. 61 And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason? 62 Yonder is Hell, which ye were promised. 63 Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved. 64 This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 22, Page 24] 65 If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the Path, but how could they have seen? 66 We could have turned them into other creatures on the spot had We wanted and they would not have been able to precede or turn back. 67
