The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
