The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
