In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 and the scarers scaring 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
