The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21
