The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows). 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
