3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 And We preserved his descendants. 77 and We established for him a good name among posterity. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said unto his father and his folk: What is it that ye worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
