3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 And, his progeny, them We made the survivors (i.e. Shem, Ham and Japheth). 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: worship ye that which ye carve. 95 when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
