Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you – therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 Most surely this is a manifest trial. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
