3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ Abraham was on the self-same way (as Noah). 83 When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood). 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering), 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 So We ransomed him for a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the posterity: 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [destined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves. 113
