3/4 Hizb 45

And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 Then We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood). 84 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the good. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
