Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
