And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
