THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
