Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
