We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
