We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
