And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And left their remembrance for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
