Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
