We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
