Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
