The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the crash? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
