And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
