We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
