And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
