And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
