The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
