And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
