Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
