We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
