Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
